Description
Timberland is a German family game about woodland management in the old days. Play is card driven according to the four seasons; fruit falls from the trees in the Autumn; in Winter, wild boar eat the fruit and run through the woods depositing seeds as they go; in the Spring and Summer the seeds grow into trees; and thereafter the trees are cut down by the axe-wielding woodcutter. Players select cards and maneuver the boar and the woodcutter in order to get the largest stand of contiguous trees. Ages 8 and up.
