Gnomes of different clans come together to form small squads competing against one another. Select 4 gnomes from a hand of 6 to make the strongest group you can, choose their combat order, then compare each gnome's strength against their opponent after synergies and unique abilities enhance their base level. Whichever player wins the most matchups of the 4 wins the round. All gnomes are shuffled together and new hands are dealt to the players to battle again. —description from the designer
