Fox One is a 1–4 player cooperative game in which players fly together as a private squadron, upgrading both their fighter jets and their squadron s base through strategic purchases and improvements. Players must complete each Mission's objective and earn a reward to repair their aircraft, purchase new jets, or upgrade their squadron's base. Enemies act using a behavior system that makes them challenging and adaptive. Players maneuver their fighters using a template-based movement system that adds realism and a sense of speed to aerial combat. They fire weapons, operate radar, or perform cockpit actions during their turns.
