Urban Capitalism is a competitive shared incentives and multicurrency auction game inspired by cube rails and Keyflower. Players represent large corporations who own all of the land in a geographically limited downtown metropolis. You ll develop and redistrict your property to attract neighborhood visitors and gain access to new actions on your turn, but ultimately, winning is about extracting value from the people under your influence. This is a game of tradeoffs and relative success. Do you spend your turns bidding or taking city actions? Do you co-invest in a neighborhood and work together to earn more rewards, splitting influence amongst owners? Or do you work alone to prevent your neighborhood investment from being diluted at the expense of city actions? —description from the publisher
