Grimm's Duel
2026
Published by (Self-Published)
After months of researching stories among nearby villages, it's time to go home and finish the book you and your sibling have been working on. But, as in many families, a hint of rivalry appears, and an important question is raised: Who's the main author of the book?! In Grimm's Duel, players compete to have the most contribution to each of the 4 fables. The contribution of a story is determined by the cards you play throughout the game. On each turn, you'll be able to play only 1 card, and cards played in ascending order create a more coherent and concise story, granting you extra points. But claiming a fable as yours comes with its ups and downs... At the end of the game, all stories will be open to the public, receiving a rating and scoring some popularity among your village. Cards not played during the game will affect the popularity of your story. By becoming the main author of a fable, you can be praised by having a popular story or linked to a not well-accepted story, receiving even negative points. The deck consists of 52 cards, where each Fable has 13 unique cards. —description from the designer
