A fantasy Battle of the Bards card game. Each person plays as a Fantasy Bard, touring the taverns and trying to win over the crowds. While they're performing the other players bards are sat in the crowd heckling them, trying to get them booed off stage. On the players turn they play cards from their hand using the positive score on the card, attempting to equal or beat the crowd score of the tavern. Other players can play cards from their hand (by rotating them 180 degrees) to reduce the performing player's score. If the performer equals or beats the crowd score, then they win the tavern. If the Hecklers manage to make the players score lower than 0 then the player is booed off stage and the tavern is discarded. Once a player has won 3 taverns, there is one more round and then the tour is over. The player with the highest total crowd score from the taverns they have won is the winner. —description from the publisher
