Gusher is a press your luck area control game that drills deep into the theme of the oil business. The game is in years broken out by Four seasons with unique modified requirements given the time of the year. You battle the harsh terrain and weather with weather event cards and deal with Incident Reports on the job through Incident cards that affect your production of your drilled towers. Drilling consists of choosing how deep you wish to drill and pull for the chance to hit a GUSHER, Full flow, or light flow production. There is a auction phase where Barons & Baroness bid on prime locations on the map and even manipulate the price of oil through a market phase. A Baron & Baroness can strategically use those parcels of land they own to either build a tower to drill or build a refinery that will DOUBLE the value of your production when the INCOME Phase of the Season occurs.
