Players place their pieces on the "Start" marked space and determine the order of play by drawing lots. Players take turns rolling the dice, starting with the youngest player, and move forward the number of spaces indicated by their roll. If they land on a space already occupied by another piece, they knock it out. The knocked-out piece must restart from the starting mark of the corresponding latitude zone where it was eliminated. A player can only advance to the next latitude zone if they roll exactly the number needed to land on the start-marked space of the next zone. Each player continues rolling until they advance to the next zone. When moving forward, players must avoid stepping back into previous zones, and if they land on an occupied space, they knock out the existing piece. For example, if a player is ready to leave a latitude zone and needs to roll a two but rolls a five, they must move forward two spaces, then move three spaces back. If, during this backward movement, they land on an occupied space, their piece must return to the starting position of the previous latitude zone and restart movement from there. The game is won by the first player to successfully reach the 90-degree-marked point with an exact roll after passing through all the latitude zones.
