Slingers is a fast action, western themed, shooter game focused on movement through the board and using weapons and action cards to boost your attacks on opposing players. The game can be played with 2-6 players and the goal of the game is to be the last cowboy standing by killing off the rest of the players. The game consists of 102 cards, a coin, a 4-sided die, a 6-sided die, 6 player pieces, 4 7x7 square boards that connect to form a 14x14 map. Each player will start off with 5 cards. During your turn you: Draw a card Play any amount of action cards and/or swap weapons Roll a 4-sided die to see how many squares you can move Do your movement Play any amount of action cards and/or swap weapons Choose to attack a player! Attacks with weapons will deal damage depending on the weapon you use and the distance you are from the player you attack. For example if you were 3 squares from your opponent and you fired a Peacemaker revolver, you would do 1 damage per shot hit. You roll a 6-sided die to see how many shots are hit. (Peacemaker does 4 damage with no distance with a 1 dmg drop off per square) Players start with 40 health and play until they are dead. There are also healing cards that can be played at any time and "reaction" cards that you play when being attacked such as the DODGE card that lets you dodge an attack. —description from the designer
