The rules are designed to recreate the small clashes that took place in the Italian wars of independence, from the unfortunate undertaking of King Joachim Murat s Tolentino (1815), to the Third War of Independence (1866). It focuses on the War of 1848. It simulates clashes that involve the use of forces from a platoon to two infantry companies on each side, with small cavalry and artillery elements to support.
