Preparation: Place the two Ying-Yang center cards in the center of the table and in a horizontal position, forming the Ying-Yang symbol (there are two possible configurations). Shuffle the 10 "Ages" cards and place them in a deck face down. Place the 10 Karma cubes within reach of the player. Objective: Place the 10 "Ages" cards around the central Ying-Yang cards in a 3x4 rectangle, recovering or managing Karma to prevent it from running out before completing the arrangement. Game play: Turn setup Draw the top three cards from the "Ages" deck and place them face up. Roll the two dice (one blue and one withe). Select and place a card: Choose a card from the three revealed. Choose one of the two dice (blue or white) to determine the number you will use. Restrictions: The number on the die must be the same color as the number on the chosen card. The value of the die cannot exactly match the number on the card (there must be at least 1 point difference). Karma cost: Subtract in Karma cubes the difference between the value of the chosen die and the corresponding number on the card. Placing the card: Place the chosen card adjacent and horizontally to one of the two central Ying-Yang cards or to another card already placed. Recovering Karma: If the half circle of the placed card matches the color of the central Ying-Yang card, recover 1 Karma cube. If a circle is also completed (two half circles of the same color of adjacent cards), recover as many Karma cubes as complete circles are formed. You cannot recover more Karma than you have lost in previous turns. Repeating the process: Follow the same procedure with the two remaining revealed cards. Once the three cards are placed, draw three new cards from the deck and repeat the process. When there are only three cards left in the deck, reveal and place the first two, leaving the last card as the final card of the game. Victory and Defeat Conditions: Victory: Complete the 3x4 layout around the Ying-Yang center cards, placing all the "Ages" cards and keeping at least 1 Karma cube. Defeat: If you run out of Karma cubes before completing all the cards, you lose the game. Strategic Notes: Carefully manage your Karma and prioritize placing cards that match the half circles on the center or adjacent cards in color. Avoid choosing dice whose Karma cost is too high, especially in the early stages of the game. Consider the future layout when placing cards, as completing colored circles can be essential to regaining Karma.
