OctoWords is a flip-and-write word game. In the first phase, players will flip letter cards, allowing them to choose 4 letter pairs to add to their page. After adding 8 letters, they will then flip 8 word cards, and use these to create a crossword on their word grid. Then, in the second phase, players will fill in their own cross word with the letters they chose, to create as many words as possible. When everyone is done, words are scored, bonuses are assigned, and a winner is announced! The game is scalable for different age and skill levels. —description from the designer
