Sock Pile is a simultaneous-play, sock-scoring card game of chaotic laundry collection. Each player controls a team of quirky Sock Monsters, battling over piles of mismatched socks across shifting locations. With identical decks, players secretly assign monsters to three locations each round — hoping to outwit opponents with clever abilities, timing, and a dynamic Laundry Line tiebreaker. Each game plays over four fast-paced rounds, with every turn unfolding in three phases: Planning, Rush, and Cleanup. Location effects, sock card values, and objective bonuses constantly mix up the tactics. Players collect, pair, and score sock cards based on matching types and values, with extra points for fulfilling hidden objectives. The rotating Laundry Line — a unique sock-type priority track — breaks ties and keeps strategies fresh. After 4 rounds, score your socks by making pairs and multiplying their values together, then claim objectives. Whoever has the best sock pile wins! With fast setup, and simultaneous turns, Sock Pile offers quick, satisfying decisions in a small, handcrafted package—perfect as a thematic filler with surprising depth. —description from the designer
