Declare yourself the Lord of… basically whatever you want in this fast-paced party game – just make sure the Overlord approves! Whether you are the Lord of Hairstyles; Lord of Barnyard Animal Noises; Lord of Body Parts; or the Lord of Things that Come in Pairs, be prepared to intimidate, distract, and out-think your opponents to call out something in their category before they call out something in yours. One player is randomly selected as the Overlord for the first round – this role then rotates each round. All players declare themselves the Lord of some category (such as Lord of Party Games; Internet Slang Acronyms; or Countries in South America; Currencies; etc.), and the Overlord can either approve or deny Lordships, ensuring a reasonable familiarity with the topic among all players. Each player has a stack of wooden Thing Tokens and a dice in front of them. One person rolls their dice at a time, and when two dice match, those Lords are in a duel. To win a duel, you have to take something from the other Lord s category before they take something from yours by being the first to say, I shall have your ________________; and naming something from your opponent s category. The Overlord is responsible for settling any disputes and breaking ties. The winning Lord takes the Thing Token at the top of their opponent s stack, adding it to their point line. The winning Lord then rolls their dice, and play continues. The end-game battle for bonus points is triggered when any player reaches 15 points, and players grab for the bonus stars in the center of the table. Points are tallied and a new round begins. Play as many rounds as your elevated blood pressure can handle. The player with the most points at the end wins. -description from designer
