Description
Fighter Command is a detailed game clearly about the Battle of Britain, although the map depicts an imaginary island nation being attacked by an imaginary continental nation. The rules cover speed, altitude, fuel, radar, sighting, differences among airfields, reconnaissance missions, and much more. The level of detail allows players to experiment with different tactical choices, e.g. the "Big Wing." Turns are 10 minutes each and must be plotted well in advance. In addition to the rules and the 11"x16" map the game includes 132 uncut counters.
