Suomalainen Pesis taktiikkapeli (translates as: Finnish Baseball tactical game) came out in 1977. This two player game "simulates" Finnish national sport Pes pallo (Baseball) which was developed in 1910's from American Baseball and old Finnish ball and bat sport called Kuningaspallo (King Ball). This boardgame is a two player game and uses card based "rock-paper-scissors" -system to simulate the various situations and decisions in the field. Player of Fielding team and player of Batting team have their own cards to choose. The cards (usually three different) player can use depend on the situation on the field (ie. how many runners are on the field etc.). Depending which action (card) batting team player chooses and which one fielding team player chooses determines the outcome of that particular throw of the ball. Both cards are revealed simultaneously.
