To play K-Chess you need a box of 8 K-Drons (4 each of 2 colors) and a regular chessboard. There are only five (5) different types of pieces involved in this game: pawns, knights, bishops, rooks and queens (no king). The object of the game is to capture the opponent s figures using all the chess rules of movement. Each player has four (4) pawns at the start of the game located on the corresponding color square of the first row. At each turn the player can either move a piece or transform it into another on (up or down the scale) according to the following sequence (scale): pawn-knight-bishop-rook. Pawn can be transformed into queens by crossing the board to the opponents starting row.
