Drachenfels is a fanciful game of knights, princesses, rainbows and dragons. Designed by Alex Randolph and Leo Colovini, produced by Schmidt Spiele. The game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 to 88 years. The components are: 1 game board 36 Spell cards 4 rainbows with 12 small plastic pieces a large red plastic piece - a tower a large green plastic piece - bottom of the tower 4 black wooden maidens 4 wooden knights with 4 plastic shields and swords, 4 green dragons 2 small grey wooden stands 4 green small plastic stands for the end of the rainbow 1 rulebook in German -- Schmidt Spiele Catalog #01077 Alex Randolph's 1991 game Jagd der Vampire is partly based on Drachenfels.
