Description

This "Krieg-Kit" conflict game was designed and published by Marty Silva in 1973. The game deals with the both the strategic and tactical aspects of the Persian War. There are two large monochrome (light and dark blue/black)map parts that depict Ancient Greece in 480. There is also a small 8 page rulebook, a battle results table and a counter sheet with adhesive printed counters that must be cut and peeled. There are a 138 counters, both men and ships. Basically, the game is a very early homemade DTP effort (long before the term was invented)from Orland Park, Illinois. Fairly rare in wargaming circles, yet a simple and quick simulation of one of history's great wars.
