Wibbell++ is a game system: a deck of cards, each with a pair of letters, a border pattern, and a value. As of 2021, it is known as the ELL deck. The first edition deck launched with five featured games included and each 1st August sees a new headline game available for free online. The are eleven headline games currently: Name Description Minutes Players Designer Wibbell A speedy word game. Shout out words that contain particular letters. As you collect more cards, the game becomes more difficult until the end of the round. Extra obligations give everyone else a chance to catch up. 10-30 3-7 Bez Phrasell The party game of inventing little phrases. 20-30 4-10 Bez Grabell A speedy game of pattern recognition & dexterity. 2-3 2-7 Bez Alphabeticell Assembling an alphabetical sequence. Deciding when to take and when to say no. 5-10 3-7 Andrew Dennison Faybell A co-operative storytelling activity. Cards provide inspiration for 'story elements' then let you influence the players after you. 15-30 2-5 Bez Coupell Helping your partner make longer words and staying in balance. 30-45 2 Bez Mickell/Muckell A true multiplayer solitaire game wherein you work on 3 words at once. 15-30 1- Bez |Categorickell A mental recall/tug of war for 2 teams. 5-15 2-6 Tom Coldron |Unfinishabell Avoiding ever actually finishing a word. 10-20 2 Paul Mansfield Puzzell An abstract game about making short runs and emptying your hand. 15-30 1 Bez Biddabell An abstract set collection/simultaneous auction game. 15-30 2-4 Alex Cannon and Xate Bez Dwindell Use increasingly hard letters to make your numbers and hand-size dwindle. 20/45/60 for an introductory/regular/epic game. 1 Jo Kelly Questabell A series of 50 varied co-operative quests to overcome. 5-30 per quest. 1-4 Kirsten Lunde From 2017 to 2023 there was an annual design contest, but due to Bezzy life challenges this has been temporarily suspended.
